Permanent jewelry involves selecting a chain and having it seamlessly welded to create a continuous, clasp-free piece of jewelry. This simple, painless process ensures that your jewelry stays securely in place, making it a timeless choice for everyday wear and meaningful keepsakes.

Permanent Jewelry pricing depends on the length of the chain used and your choice of chain type. We offer a variety of chains in Sterling Silver, Gold-Filled, and 14-karat solid gold. An initial welding fee applies to each piece. Additionally, we offer custom ordering for chains, charms, and links. For more information, please refer to the "Extra Info" tab.

What is Gold-Filled, and is it Safe for Me?

Gold-filled jewelry consists of 5% solid gold mechanically bonded to a base metal, such as brass or bronze. It contains approximately 100 times more gold than gold-plated jewelry, which typically has a gold content of less than 0.05%.

While gold-filled jewelry is generally safer than gold-plated jewelry, individual reactions can vary. If you are highly sensitive to metals, we recommend considering alternatives to gold-filled chains.

Pricing

Initial Welding Fee: $20

Re-Weld Fee: $10

Replacement Jump Ring: $5

Charms & Links: $20-$140, depending on the type of metal and gems.

Chains: $5-$10 Per Inch, depending on the type of metal and style of chain.

• Avoid excessive exposure to lotions, perfumes, or harsh chemicals that can damage your jewelry.

• Clean with a soft-bristle toothbrush and mild dish soap. Dry with a microfiber or jewelry polishing cloth.

• Changes in body chemistry or skin pH can cause metals to tarnish over time.

Removal: If you need to remove your permanent jewelry, locate the jump ring and cut it with a pair of scissors. If you have trouble cutting it yourself, feel free to visit our shop, where we can remove it using our jewelry tools.

Free Re-Weld: We offer a free re-weld within 30 days of your purchase if the initial weld does not fully seal the jump ring.

Tarnishing: Tarnishing within the first 30 days is rare but can occur due to changes in skin pH. If you experience tarnishing, we will help you find a chain that suits your needs. If the replacement chain costs more than your original, you will be responsible for the difference.

Allergic Reactions: We offer exchanges within 30 days of your initial weld appointment if you experience an allergic reaction. If needed, we will assist in finding a suitable chain. Again, if the replacement chain's total exceeds your initial total, you will be expected to pay the difference.

Warranty Claims: For any warranty claims, you must present your signed and dated "Permanent Jewelry Aftercare & Warranty" card, which you will receive at your initial welding appointment. A new warranty card will be issued each time we perform a weld. Claims will not be accepted without this card.

Exclusions:

• Returns on jewelry are not accepted.

• We are not responsible for misplaced or broken chains.

• We are not liable for allergic reactions or tarnishing that occurs after 30 days.

Ages

We offer Permanent Jewelry for all ages! For safety reasons, clients must be able to remain seated throughout the welding process without making sudden movements.

Permanent Necklaces/Chains

If you’re interested in a Permanent Necklace, we recommend visiting our shop for a fitting. If we don’t have the chain you want in stock, we can custom-order it, which typically takes about one week.

Custom Ordering

We offer custom ordering for any chains, charms, and/or links from our suppliers. Custom orders usually take 5-8 business days to arrive. To place a custom order, please visit our shop. We require a deposit of 50% of the total jewelry cost at the time of ordering.
