Here at The Hole Look, we pierce children’s earlobes starting at 8 years old and up. Our piercers have different age requirements, so please take a look at their profiles or contact the shop if you have any questions.

Our insurance requires that we have a copy of a valid state or a government-issued photo ID for anyone getting pierced, including those under 18. We can accept state IDs, permits, military dependent cards, tribal cards if they have a photo, and passports. These documents are also required for inserting or removing jewelry and downsizing.

We CANNOT accept school IDs, expired IDs, or birth certificates on their own.

A parent or legal guardian MUST be present to sign off on our paperwork and throughout the appointment. If the parent and child have different last names, we also require documentation showing how the last names go together to prove guardianship (birth certificate, marriage license, divorce paperwork, guardianship paperwork). We can accept digital images of this paperwork as well.
